After cruising with friends and family for a few seasons, we uncovered a number of issues with the sea-worthiness of our boat, as well as a number of upgrades we would like to make. In June 2008, we will return to Delta Marine in Seattle WA to address the following items:
 
Galley:
  • replace 5 lb latches with 10 lb latches on all drawers, and some cupboards
  • secure the garbage compactor
  • add foot/chair rail on the island bar to secure the barstools while underway
  • replace broken dimmer switch
  • replace/repair exhaust fan over cooktop
  • upgrade latch on refrigerator/freezer
  • replace 'bus' windows and frames with 3/4" tempered glass and new frames
  • add additional blocking to secure refrigerator/freezer

 

Salon

  • add Plexiglas covers to wine rack
  • add 5 lb latches to drawers and cupboards presently secured by Sugatsune latches
  • replace 8 'bus' windows and frames with 3/4" tempered glass and new frames
  • replace broken dimmer switch on starboard wall switchbank

 

Master Stateroom

  • replace 9K BTU air hander with 12K BTU model

 

Master Head

 

  • tear-out to bare walls and rebuild with new floorplan
  • replace as much steel water pipe as possible with Unipipe

 

 

 

 

Port Guest Head

  • tear-out to bare walls and rebuild
  • replace as much steel water pipe as possible with Unipipe

 

Port Guest Stateroom

  • replace holding tank vent pipe located in outboard wall and add AC powered in-line blower

 

Stbd Guest Stateroom

  • replace air handler with 9K BTU unit from master stateroom

 

Lazerette

  • Paint floor, walls and ceiling with truck bed liner coating (Grizzly Grip?)
  • Install 2 Glendinning Cable master units for 50A / 240V shore power cables
  • Move 3-phase 100A / 208V shore power inlet to transom
  • Move fresh water inlet to transom
  • Move cable TV & telephone inlets to transom
  • Install 24V DC circuit breaker panel for cable master, transom lights and lazerette lights.
  • Breaker panel to be installed in watertight box

 

Fresh Water Tank

  • Install SS water-tight conduit(s) between engine room and lazerette. Conduit(s) to contain:
    • 2 x 50A / 240V shore power cables
    • 1 x 3-phase 100A / 208V shore power cable
    • 1 x fresh water line
    • 1 x coax cable TV line
    • 1 x shielded twisted pair telephone / DSL line
    • 1 x NMEA 2000 mini cable with bulkhead connectors at each end
    • 1 x 24V DC positive & negative lines to service circuit breaker panel in lazerette
  • Sandblast and paint with Ceramkote-2000
  • Replace fresh water outlet downpipe

 

Aft Deck

  • Remove shore power box and plug 3" deck penetrations
  • Remove fresh water outlet on deck and plug deck penetration

 

Engine Room

  • repair failing chilled water AC unit - compressor will not start
